What is the age limit for your classes?
We enjoy classes filled with children of all ages, which generally range from 7 years to 14 years old. Occasionally, some cuisines may be more challenging to some than others. Even though we do our best to align students with responsibilities they'll be comfortable with, we highly encourage parents to contact us if uncertain about how their child will do.
Do I have to register in advance or can I just show up?
All classes require advance registration and payment.
Can you accommodate special dietary restrictions?
For any food allergies or special needs, please give us a call before registering. We always try to accommodate, however certain themes may be difficult to make substitutions.
Are there any forms that need to be submitted PRIOR TO my class?
Yes, we have a liability waiver that must be signed by a parent or legal guardian and emailed to or brought to their scheduled class.
When registering, participants must assume and accept that they will be participating in cooking activities where there is a natural element of risk of injury with kitchen appliances, equipment, knives, allergic reactions and other students in the class. Registering for an Apron Strings cooking class acknowledges this level of risk to yourself and/or child while participating in the activities at Apron Strings Cooking School.
What is your cancellation policy?
The Apron Strings cancellation policy is that there will be no refunds on after school classes, other group classes, and day camps. No class refunds or make up classes will be issued for a missed class for any reason including illness. The ingredients and staffing necessary will have already been purchased and scheduled for your child's place in the class. We appreciate your understanding.
