Intended for children of all ages and skill-levels, Apron String's mission is to help young chefs broaden their cooking knowledge while encouraging creativity in a fun, interactive environment! Students will not only enjoy food they've prepared but also learn the culture behind the cuisine, kitchen safety, preparation techniques, presentation skills and more!
Hands-On Experiences
Each class is designed with the students in mind. To accommodate different skill-sets and comfort levels, the instructor works closely with students at various stations for one-on-one instruction! From cooking fundamentals to the science behind it, students gain practical skills to build upon at home while making new friends along the way!
Adventures in Cooking
Food is an important part of most cultures. In every Apron Strings class, we explore a different cuisine from around the world to learn more about what makes it so special and delicious! With fresh cooking themes each week, every class is truly a unique experience!

Who We Are
Teaching Through Practice
Apron Strings Cooking School is owned and led by Melinda Fitzgerald, or simply known as "Ms. Melinda" by her students.
Throughout her career, Melinda has always worked closely with children. With a background in education and extensive personal travel, Melinda's passionate about bringing the world to children through food.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Apron Strings cancellation policy is that there will be no refunds on after school classes, other group classes, and day camps. No class refunds or make up classes will be issued for a missed class for any reason including illness. The ingredients and staffing necessary will have already been purchased and scheduled for your child's place in the class. We appreciate your understanding.
